A bridge between the age groups Young people are grouped with mentors who encourage them through life. The mentor connects with their group in three ways: Weekly - socializing at events Weekly - text message or phone call Monthly - fun activity The mentor also offers advice on how to build a real relationship with Jesus.
We are in the process of expanding our reach to include more people who need hope and relationships.
Here are some of our ideas:
Gen.Arising Band concerts: a pop-rock band featuring songs of hope.
Volunteers will connect attendees with mentors when desired.
Humanitarian efforts: volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, or other compassionate organizations.
Relief fund raising: volunteering for Drop Inn Ministries, a second-hand store that raises money for needs globally and locally.
